Thousands of people's loved ones died waiting for help in Puerto Rico.
While Donald Trump watched golf tournaments and delayed suspending the Jones Act, thousands of people’s loved ones died.
While Donald Trump quickly reinstated the Jones Act after just a couple of weeks, thus hampering relief efforts, thousands of people’s loved ones died. While Donald Trump congratulated himself via Tweet, saying “No one has done more for Puerto Rico than I have”, thousands of people’s loved ones died. While Donald Trump picked fights with local officials, thousands of people’s loved ones died. While Donald Trump blamed the Puerto Rican’s ills on themselves, thousands of people’s loved ones died. While Donald Trump made a quick, awkward stop, tossed a few rolls of paper towels into a crowd and then quickly left, thousands of people’s loved ones died. While Donald Trump let sham opportunists like the company connected to his Secretary of Interior come in and perform little actual work for big bucks, thousands of people’s loved ones died. While Donald Trump let naval hospital ships sit offshore virtually empty, thousands of people’s loved ones died. Thousands of people’s loved ones died in Puerto Rico because of the hurricane and because of willful indifference to human life, and now this disgrace upon humanity wants to say they didn’t die? I have no further words.

2. It may have been just a coincidence, but it might not have been...
... I literally felt nauseous after reading that tweet yesterday.

3. I don't remember
Did Puerto Rico get 24/7 coverage the way Florence has?
tRump totally ignores people who died after the hurricane due to disease and lack of human essentials. I knew one man who died of a heart attack afterwards while trying to fix his storm damaged house. |

5. It did get a decent amount of coverage.
Maybe not quite as much as the hurricanes on the mainland, but I do remember live broadcasts from Puerto Rico as the storm was hitting.

6. And now he's screaming "fake polls! fake numbers!"
I'd like to tell him what he can do with those fake polls...

8. The GOP is in for a major defeat and I love it it.
Puerto Ricans who evacuated to Florida, New York, California and elsewhere will not forget about this. Trump has made so many of them lifelong Democrats. Hell, the rethug party may be in a hole they will never climb out of. |
