You know what,
I'm losing patience with this whole procedure, prosses, president shit. Everyone in government has information that will sink trump and many republicans . Mueller has the goods on these criminal traitors. Now I hear there is some kind of 60-90 day rule nonsense. If this information is not released now that I'm itself is a crime. We as citizens have a right to know because of the upcoming elections . By the time this come out as it is now we a done , literally done. That may be the plan after all.

1. Consider the source...
I believe you're correct in saying there's an policy (not law) at DoJ about keeping their distance from a candidate within 60 days of the election (and yes, Comey f'cked that one up royally), think about who's pushing the 60 narrative relative to trump. Rudy. Rudy and team trump are the ones out saying it's a law that Mueller can't do anything now that we're wishing 60 days of an election in which trump is NOT running. By Rudy's logic, if there's an election for dog catcher in Peoria, Mueller can't do anything 60 days prior. So... It's policy not a law. It applies to candidates of that election. The only folks saying it applies to trump and the mid-terms is team trump. I have no inside knowledge but I'm pretty sure Mueller isn't taking his marching orders from Rudy. ![]() |

3. And that's the same DoJ that re-opened the inquiry into Hillary's emails
a week or so before the election, right? 6 days, 60 days, what's the difference?
Plus, Mueller is moving with agonizing slowness. I still think that Jeffrey Toobin's statement back at the beginning of the year that in the end Mueller and team will file a report with Congress and leave it up to them to act on it. At least in regards to Trump. The indictments and guilty pleas and one conviction so far are trivial. Nothing has changed. Even the "anonymous" editorial is meaningless, given that the writer indicates that those around Trump fully support the Republican agenda (destroy Social Security and Medicare, deport as many as possible, gut environmental laws and all regulations), they just are willing to put a bit of a brake on some of the crazier stuff. But not ever confront the man and tell him how things work. |

4. I don't disagree with you...
No question Comey screwed the pooch a week or so before 11/9/16. But I have to admit, if I had the ability to go back in time and change one thing in the world, I'm not sure this makes the top 10. I hate it and agree that it was a total scam, but it's not Top 10 for me. And I agree that Mueller's pace is agonizing. That said, IMHO he's sifting through 2 decades of a crime family's activities. I don't know if it was Ralph Waldo Emerson or Omar (from "The Wire" ![]() And it may be that Toobin is correct in that Mueller delivers his report to congress at the beginning of the year. I like that approach. I would argue that Mueller is doing everything he can and it's OUR JOB to be sure he's delivering it to a Democratic House in Jan 2019. So you're right...nothing has changed. That's what elections are for. So GOTV and let's be sure that Mueller has a receptive House for his report because a Republican House will slap a "Do Not Open for 100 years" sticker on it and throw it in a drawer. A Democratic House will share it with the nation. ![]() |

6. The one thing that gives me some hope
is that many people are speaking out loud and clear against Trump, his minions, his judges, his god-awful executive orders, and so on. When Hitler was in the process of taking power, very few Germans spoke up.
If you haven't yet read In the Garden of the Beasts by Erik Larson, do so. It's instructive and horrifying to read about Germany in the very first years after Hitler. Note, I am explicitly NOT comparing what's going on now with what happened the, specifically because of the speaking out that so many are doing. ![]() |

2. Stop the defeatism. Consider the source. Get mad but do not give up.

5. How can you not give up ?
Republicans and Democrats alike know more than enough to stop this now. Ok don't show your hand Mr. Mueller but at least you or anyone who is sitting on the fate of the country give us enough to have a fighting chance. Please.
