FLIPPABLE: Adam Hattersley for FL-HD59
Adam Hattersley is running for Florida State House, District 59 encompassing most of Brandon, Valrico, Dover, Seffner, Riverview, Palm River and Clair-Mel City.
Born in Massachusetts and raised mostly in Colorado, Adam Hattersley graduated with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2000 and 2001, respectively. While there, he was a member of the 1999 NCAA Champion mens gymnastics team. He then served as a Nuclear Submarine officer in the US Navy for eight years, including time in the Pacific Fleet, on the ground with an Army unit in Operation Iraqi Freedom (2006-2007) for which he was awarded a Bronze Star, and completed his service as an instructor at the US Naval Academy.
After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Adam moved to Riverview, FL in 2009 where he worked for Granite Services, International (a subsidiary of GE), leading a team responsible for training and managing hundreds of skilled technicians all over the world. In 2016 he and his wife opened C-Suite Promotions, a print and promotional item distributorship. He currently serves as a Selective Service board member for the community.
Adam is an internationally certified judge for mens gymnastics, and has represented the US at competitions and events on four continents.
