If someone is convicted in a SDNY court they've been convicted of a federal crime, which is pardonable by a president. Proceedings in this court should not be confused with those arising in a court under the jurisdiction of the State of New York.

Also it is a civil investigation not criminal. The potential penalty is a fine to the foundation.

They issue fines. The issues are with the Foundation not Trump as an individual.

Because any power we grant when our people have control gets in the hands of the GOP when they have control.

Would we want Bush to have been able to undo all of Bill Clinton’s pardons, or Trump to be able to undo all of President Obama’s?
