1. There's a difference between acquittal and a hung jury

Considering the voluminous evidence put on by the government and the defense's refusal to put on a case, there could be a juror overwhelmed by it all who doesn't vote to convict. But it is indeed hard to imagine that all 12 jurors will vote not guilty and that Manafort walks away free. If there is a hung jury, the government can bring the case to trial again.

Paul Manafort is a person with no influence or impact on your life.

Explain the difference, to you or anyone else, between (a) a world in which Manafort is convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud, and (b) a world in which Manafort is not convicted of those things.

multi count charges, you systematically go thru the charges from the easy "guilty" ones first to the more complex charges last. The prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt on several of the lessor charges. Takes time to go thru the others and sometimes take a few dozen votes to come to a conclusion.

Also hard to imagine the assholes taking over the Oregon wildlife preserve getting off, not guilty. But they did.

Donald Trump is President. Fox News is the most popular news in America for the past 20 years. The Republican party conspired with Russia (RUSSIA!) to steal 2016 election. Rudy Giuliani, Trumps lawyer, is on TV daily saying such sh*t that can not be believed.

So yes. HELL YES, acquittal is possible.
