Sequester this jury already.
This should have been about a half hour verdict on all counts.
Instead, they get to go home, party, watch movies, have weekend camping trips, and then come back to the courtroom for free lunches while getting time off from their jobs. ANY jury for any case this high profile and important should have been sequestered from the get-go.

3. What makes this "high profile and important"?
This is a bank and tax fraud case. His relationship to Trump has nothing to do with the charges he’s being tried for.
By and large, we don’t sequester jurors for non-capital cases any more. |

5. You hit on a good point
Really what difference does it make if Manafoet is found guilty or not on any of these charges.

14. The next trial, in DC, will probably be more
Consequential politically.

17. I agree it is more interesting
At the end of the day, whether Manafort is convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud really just doesn't have much connection to anything of consequence. |

4. Something wrong here, Putin probably
Remember, Putin is a criminal. He runs rump and the rest of the GOP now and it is plausible, likely he will fuck with any jury related in anyway to the traitor in the WH.
Or do we think THAT is a line he wont cross? ![]() Whether he fucked with this jury or not, we cant be sure, can we. We can be certain he will fuck with any jury he can. |

6. Did it ever occur to you that the jury is doing its job?
They are reviewing reams of materials, they have 18 separate counts to consider, any one of which could mean that the defendant dies in prison. I hope they take their time. BTW, these jurors' lives have been turned upside down for more that a month now. I don't think the pay for being a juror anywhere near compensates for what these folks will lose in income.

9. YES, thank you.
Sounds like some want the case to be handled like trump handles things, 'Just do what I say.'

and do a thorough job.

7. There Are 17 Counts
If they have Guilty verdicts on 15 Counts, but are deadlocked on 2, they're not going to be finished. They probably want to exhaust all efforts before going to judge and asking for mistrial on those counts.
The wait does not mean they have reached no verdicts on any of the counts. |

8. I've been worrying about this
from the get-go. I have a bad feeling that Manafort will walk. This jury really could be tainted...even by only one individual. The judge was a hot mess throughout the trial. Manafort's overconfidence has been a red flag to me...almost as if he knows he's going to get away with this. Putin will likely have a hand in the outcome of the next trial, no doubt. If Manafort walks away from one or both of these, the deplorable shit storm against Mueller will explode to the 10th power.

You apparently never have been called for jury duty. Oh, and the “pay” is just enough to cover the parking fee for the day in my county. |

15. You really need to settle down.
The Jury has 17 counts and lots of evidence to review, they're just doing their job right.
BTW, very, very few juries are sequestered on non capital cases. |
