Been using it for years on poison ivy.

Roundup replacements leave a brown strip that becomes sand for a while. My brother uses roundup on his fence lines and I just hate that. His fence lines look much better when they blend in with the field grass. I would rather walk around a lot using a wacker when I help him than see him use the stuff that kills off grass.

We can spray vinegar, however, and boy does our yard smell.
