So much for the Michigan Republican Unity Dinner.

Governor Rick "The Dictator" Snyder didn't bother showing up, and Calley offered his public endorsement of Scheutte, but Scheutte turned him down. My sweetie worked in Michigan politics for 30 years & one of his bosses told him the #1 rule was "Don't step on your own dick." Well, Calley got a decent number of votes, so that appears to be a dick-stepping move on Scheutte's part. But he's an arrogant asshole, so I'm not too surprised.

The winner? Gretchen Witmer & the MI Democratic Party. GOTV!
