Ohio Green candidate says his ancestors from another planet and can't remember name of his website

Joe Manchik played spoiler Tuesday in Ohio, taking nearly enough votes in from the Democrat in a special election to trigger a statewide automatic recount

The native of Hell, Michigan says his ancestors came from a distant planet and couldn't remember his own website address during an interview this year

He claims marijuana is the solution to opioid addiction and says he speaks 19 languages including 'Spanglish' and 'Sheet Music'

Other than that, he sounds like a total crackpot and quite possibly, a Moscow Candidate.

Much like Stein.

or Congress itself to the GOP, he told The Washington Post, he wouldn't lose a night of sleep. “I don't think there's much difference between Democrats and the Republican Party at all,” the 65-year-old network designer said."

I used to just shrug at destructive asses like this, live and let live, but not these days. He's not mentally ill, you know, and you could be right about what he's not saying. He claims to deplore fascism and plans to run as a hopeful spoiler again in November.

On the plus side, 12,000 people voted for him in 2016's GE, only 1 out of 10 repeating, so perhaps most regret it. And/or he's lost his novelty.

Sigh.

of that person's choice. Party approval is not required. so Mr. Manchik, whatever his origins, can file as a Green, whether the Green party knows or even cares. That's the case here in Minnesota. Two years ago a rabid tea party right-winger filed for the House seat here as a Democrat, running against our incumbent, Betty McCollum in the primary. It wasn't a problem, but there he was.

Mr. Manchick is a candidacy filer, apparently. I expect he'll file for other offices, as well. There are always a few of those around.

99.99% of the time, they actually help anti-environmentalists. Their best shot is joining the Democratic Party and trying to spread their message there.
