Like Rachel usually does. I wonder if it's part of the deal when replacing Rachel..

(6,839 posts)She's the only Rachel sub who I enjoy watching.

(42,862 posts)Rachel's staff did the research. She's a newsreader, a presenter. No big deal.

(31,261 posts)Plus, Rachel likely pre-approved a list of people that could sub for her and Nicole was one of those people.

(49,370 posts)She allows them to guide viewers through the issues. Her format and interview style differs from Rachel, but also yields valuable information.

(9,352 posts)I enjoy her show at 4pm but question why MSNBC has suddenly put her into Rachels time slot.

(9,352 posts)If she had a change of heart after the whole Bimbo Barbie episode I would be more accepting.
As I said, I do enjoy her show and she has great guests.
Heard that she was on The View as the token conservative. That made my skin crawl.
Guess it will take some more time to totally accept her.

(31,261 posts)The only former republican that I trust is Liz Warren, but she has long been the real deal as a progressive.

(19,972 posts)When she introduced Steve Schmidt she said something to the effect that she and Steve had worked together with "someone who could see Russia from her house."
Cosmocat
(14,561 posts)1) during an earlier segment in the show, one of her guests, a democratic strategist, was saying we should do what the Republicans would do if it was a Democratic president right now, she cut him off and loudly said "what lie?"
2) her last segment was on LeBron, and the new school that he opened. She talked about him like one of our liberal folks would have talked about him, just gushed.
She pretty much hates Republicans at this point. Her shows are just absolute blood lettings against republicans.
drray23
(7,627 posts)She covers events related to Trump. She really does not like Trump. Kinda like her former colleague Steve Schmitt who also despise Trump, yet they both used to work for McCain and Bush.

(5,705 posts)and we will see her subbing for Rachel in the future?

(7,627 posts)She is dumb as a box of rocks and completely brainwashed.

(2,187 posts)But she is so darn likeable and has a very good show that I can't not watch her.
Chris Cuomo also has a good show and I watch when it's repeated for the west coast as often as I can.

(14,565 posts)I had no idea she was subbing for Rachel. I turned to MSNBC and saw Nicole Wallace with Steve Schmidt promised later, so I stayed throughout.
If it had been Rachel I would have clicked away to Cuomo. I can only tolerate Rachel's style for so long.

(6,280 posts).... At the Nicole Wallace haters. They profess their love and respect for Rachel Maddow, but do not trust nor respect her judgment in choosing a replacement for her show.
Upthevibe
(8,034 posts)Sarah Palin DEFINITELY pushed her and Steve over the edge. The movie Game Change was excellent. It's all about the 2008 Election - Nicole and Steve were both portrayed in the movie as major characters and were played by Sarah Paulson and Woody Harrelson. I really enjoyed Nicole when she was on the view. In fact, her contract wasn't renewed because:

(36,257 posts)Nicolle's first appearance on MSNBC, AFAIK, was as a guest on Rachel's show. After a few more appearances she got recruited by MSNBC.
