many of us who are old farts now really did get taken by lines like that.

Remember we didn't have a fraction of the information available to young men these days. Either that or we were just flat out fools, for me that's a strong possibility.

You make the logical decisions along the way toward the desired outcome, and then see if the outcome cooperates.

What was he supposed to say -- "We're going to lose anyway, so why pay them off?"

The odds against Trump were never anywhere close to as lopsided as this site and other Democratic sites wanted to believe. Trump and his team understood that, even if they indeed expected to lose.

Hillary made decisions on the same day, designed to help her chances. They may have been beneficial, negative or irrelevant but they were considered her best options at the time.

Lots of red board players around here. That's the derisive horse racing term for handicappers who have all the answers once the official result is on the board in red lettering.

along with his wife who looked like she was in shock the days after. I think he went into this just to increase his name share, make tRump great again. Now he's in it to bilk as much money out of country as putin did to Russia.
