A person in my town ( Republican) is totally fine with Russian collusion

They said its totally ok as long as the right side wins

He said for him there are much bigger things at stake than anything related to Russia. As long as Trump is delivering victories on taxes, banking regulations and keeps the idiot base happy .. Trump is safe.

I could not believe what I was hearing.

This is what we are up against folks!!

2. Entitlement is Connected to Narcissism, a Personality Disorder

There is much untreated mental illness in the U. S. and we are all paying the price for it getting swept under the rug.

3. Yes, this is what we're up against.

As long as their side is in control they don't care about rules or tradition. But when they are on the bottom, they demand our side abide by the rules. And we do. It's time to throw some dirt in their eyes and kick 'em in the balls.

4. I know

I went to university in France with an American guy who worshipped Reagan and detested the "Evil Empire" under the fairly reasonable Gorbachev. Now he sings Trump's praises for "making the world safer" by cosying up to the world class thugs Putin and Kim.

He was a Trumper before there was a Trump. There is no logical reasoning process going on here, its just gut reactions to their own insecurities. It is, and always has been, like talking to a brick wall.

And we all know how clever bricks are.

5. People of that opinion have forfeited their right to

question anyone else’s patriotism.

I used to think that the US was sheltered from that sort of person by Mexico’s border with Guatemala (The Mexicans are also nationalists) and the Florida Straits. I am not only horrified to see that sort of thinking spread across the US, but also that the people who think that way are home-grown Americans. This ain’t the sort of patriotism I learned in primary school!

The Latins have a term for that sort of person: vendepatria.

6. Except they are the ones who keep crowing about the beautiful American Flag

The most dangerous place to stand anywhere on Earth is between him and his brand of patriotism.

7. That person doesn't deserve the idea of America.

Let alone are they smart enough to comprehend it.

He is a person without a country and he doesn't even know it.

8. This person likes money more than America

That's his/her bottom line when you mentioned taxes and banking.

9. This. Yep.

When it's finally clear to everyone that Trumps election was illigitimate Republicans will shrug their shoulders and ignore it.
They know the only way they can win is by cheating ar the polls so why would they object to Putin and Trump collaborating to help them?

10. I've heard/read that from a number of white wingers. "All fair in politics," taken way too far.
