I really wonder if the people who hacked DU on election night we're involved with the hacking of
Democratic campaign servers?
Was that ever reported to the police? It to me, was the absolute concrete evidence of how far the tentacles of the hackers went. We will probably never fully understand how deep and wide the conspiracy against the United States was in the time preceding the election.

1. shutting down the means for the opposition to communicate during a coup
certainly sounds like standard operating procedures for an organization like russian military intelligence....
if only from the reaction of the admins, this was an attack like no other previously, and the timing can't be ignored. |

2. Republicans boasted the RNC servers, and very few other political servers, were breached.
And are still boasting of it...ignoring the clear fact the Russians were Trump's stooges alone.
Not supporting President Clinton now is the same as supporting crimes against American democracy. |

3. Skinner could jump in, but I don't think the origins of the hack were ever discovered.
As far as it being a Russian hack, I'm not really sure. Maybe. But I'm not sure if they see DU as that much of a threat. Is there anything DU could have realistically done to change the course of the election that night? Doubtful.

7. I agree; I can't see Russia as being overly concerned about a discussion forum--
why would they--they apparently had more important things to do. I assume it was the alt-right or some such.

9. There's no doubt in my mind that this is EXACTLY
What happened!
And I won't be surprised if it happens again this November We must all have contingency plans to go moveon.org or other local or online organizers of election protests just in case the Russians, er, ugh... The republicans run the table on elections this fall... |
