Genocide is a process that develops in ten stages that are predictable but not inexorable. At each stage, preventive measures can stop it. The process is not linear. Stages may occur simultaneously. Logically, later stages must be preceded by earlier stages. But all stages continue to operate throughout the process.

1. Stage 5, actually - There's armed militias at the border.

President Donald Trump recently signed an executive order to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border as the first step to fulfill a campaign promise. Saying the U.S. government has failed to secure it, a group of armed citizens are patrolling a nearly 400-mile stretch of desert land that separates Arizona from Mexico. 2. We've seen Jim Adkisson, Scott Roeder. If Fox News said "Kill the liberals, Muslims, immigrants"

It would happen... It's conditioning.

They've whipped up so much hate at this point, when we see them say it's logical to vote for a theocratic sex offender over a Democrat, that's part of it too. All they have to do is turn that hate into action.

3. The US has gone past stage 4

If you stop and think about it, this administration is in various parts of 5, 6, 7 and 8!

Alt-right groups have either already formed or are in the process of forming.

Hate groups and individuals like Alex Jones, Pastor Jefress have begun the process of polarization

The simple fact that most of the contracts to build camps were signed last year, shows that they are preparing

And each time Trump holds one of his rallies, you can see the love that the crowd has for the idea of persecuting people of color.

4. Those "stages" are so broad that they are useless

Having group names isn't a step on the road to genocide in any meaningful sense for example. If it were, humanity is always on the road to genocide at which point it's not useful as a predictor, it's just our default state.
