Will We Ever Get The Pleasure Of Watching Trump Marched Off In Handcuffs?

It looks like Cohen is going to flip, and that would be then end of Trump. Still it is hard to imagine our actual system of justice, with all its flaws, working like it should. You know, having an obvious rich and powerful criminal like Trump held accountable for his obvious crimes. Even if he is indicted, will we get the pleasure of seeing the handcuffed march?

Yes, or no?

Thoughts?

He's the US President, whether we like/accept that or not. They won't let that happen.

I believe he will resign. But aside from that he'll be scot free.

unless the economy crashes or he gets tens of thousands killed.

He may get indicted in a state court but they won't put in cuffs. He will turn himself in. They will set a huge bail.

The amoral pig will flee the country before we actually see in cuffs.

president if the GOP cult remains in power. He'll be able to do whatever he wants to do the country and the world until he passes away or has a stroke. His base will follow him into annihilation in a nuclear fireball, if that's what their Dear Leader tells them is necessary to MAGA.

Politicians of all ilks are extremely sensitive to other politicians being shown the disrespect they deserve. Especially the higher ranking ones (and I do mean rank ).

We are a nation of law and law is based on precedence and no President has ever gone to jail. It's highly unlikely this one would go. The best thing is to get him out of there and ratchet the pressure up on the R's to undo what he's done. And flip the Congress in November and get to work repairing the damage.

That is the lowest of the low, in terms of predictive ability.

A first term president is in office and due to how simpletons will view the North Korea summit, his approval rating is going to rise to highest level since very early in his tenure. That is the wide scope view and always the proper one to undertake in terms of how things will play out.

If you use the Rachel Maddow mode of, 'What was the point of that?" or fixate on the daily twists and turns, then the big picture will always float comfortably above your head.

Yes, Trump is a life long liar and crook. Nothing will come of it. His party is thrilled to look the other way. He has exponentially greater likelihood of serving two full terms than leaving office before his first term is complete.

But unfortunately, with what I’ve seen go down since tRump took OVER (not took office), things have happened at an alarming rate that would have already ended anyone else’s term. He lies with regularity and gets no punishment. He has broken laws and long standing rules without a single consequence. He has openly done things that are illegal and immoral without losing much support from those who supported and voted for him.

So while I want to say a resounding yes, my common sense says he will never spend a day behind bars. He will go down in history as the biggest con man of all time who got away with it. I hope I am proven wrong and soon.

Even one or more family members flip on him , maybe. I won't hold my breath he'll ever face jail time because of how corrupt they've gotten in DC.
