Well, Trump would never sit still long enough for a 15 minute silence to drag out if a reporter reared up on his hind legs and challenged one of his fatuous lies. Trump would mount up and gish gallop a dozen more lies, and every reporter in the room would be too busy scribbling it all down to notice that Trump had been caught in a lie and was challenged on it.
