2. News anchors last week would not stop commenting

On how low the Democratic turnout was when we barely started counting.

3. The two Dems in my house use mail-in ballots, which means we are not seen at the polls

I wonder how much that affects perceptions?

4. Well, whaddyaknow.

Good lord that should strike fear into the DarkHearts.

Can we vote them off the island? I think that's fair at this point. Isn't there a place where traitors go?

5. I don't think that's what the turnout news was about

It’s hardly surprising that a statewide primary turnout is higher when there isn’t an incumbent on the ballot.

I think the numbers that people were watching dealt with the 7 to 10 house seat primaries that involve Republican incumbents potentially in danger. Those seats are supposed to be fertile ground for the blue wave in November. As I read it, the “concern” was that Only one of those primaries ended up with more Democratic voters then Republican voters.
