General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsJust heard Malcom Nance on Stephanie Millers show.
He made an interesting comment about George Papadopoulos. Specifically, about his wife, Simona Mangiante.
The reference was about his wife being "Italian". Nance was, of course, involved in counter-intelligence and as such he has experience with linguistics. He brought us suspicions that her accent WAS NOT Italian, but rather more eastern European. This would raise some questions about further infiltration of the Dump team by nefarious entities. He also stated that our intelligence agencies would not assume anything about her until her background completely checked out.
Now I'm certainly no linguist, but listening to her accent raised my eyebrows somewhat as well. Listen for yourself:

(23,239 posts)I think he is right about this woman. I hope that someone with a platform can do some digging on her background. Malcolm also said something disturbing unrelated to this... he said that 53% of Americans believe the Mueller probe is politically motivated. After that he said we are in trouble. Malcolm is usually more positive than that. The

(46,166 posts)To me, she looks and sounds Italian.
As for her looks I remember Italian actresses like Monica Vitti and Virna Lisi who had signature blonde hair. Searching the web I can't find anything but Italy being her place of birth.

(46,166 posts)She sounds like my husband's Italian relatives who were born in Italy.
I like Nance a lot but I think he went out on a limb here and needs more evidence for his speculation, imo.

(21,822 posts)There were instances where it sounded Italian but generally it didn't. Could she be from Eastern Europe but spent part of her time in Italy, thus picking up with the slight Italian accent?

She could be a russian plant.
