that it is a trap and Romney's returns are squeaky clean. I don't buy it for a minute. Romney knows they are bad or he would have put them up before it was even a controversy.

However, it's in the court of public opinion where different rules apply.
RWers like to say "perception is reality" and in this case the perception is that Romney didn't pay any taxes for 10 years.
