Robert Mueller is tasked with...

...investigating Russian interference in our election (democracy) yet tRump and his minions, from the outset, have jumped in claiming foul.

This is a subtle point: The fact tRump jumped in early (guilty conscience?).

I don't recall the investigation starting as, "Trump's involvement with Russia" yet tRump and his support thought so immediately as I recall.

I hope I made my point clearly.
A point I have never heard the press or media make.
