5. John Bolton recommended a "preemptive strirke" against NK

just a couple of months ago, and other times. That's nuclear! He's who's advising Trump now, along with Hannity, etc., and that is because Trump wants that kind of advice. Many conservatives despise and fear peace treaties as fatally weak. Trump may have preened himself on getting a Nobel like Obama, but his choice of Bolton and withdrawal from the Iran agreements suggests he also despises agreements as the product of weaklings.

While negotiating the summit, Trump, Pence and Bolton and Giuliani are all speaking publicly about forcing NK to allow us to take their nukes, making comparison to Libya, whose leader was eventually overthrown and murdered. They all have to know a big reason Kim wants nukes is to protect himself and his family's regime from just that.

I suspect Trump's yearning to use our military (why do we have it if not to shock and awe the world with our power of destruction?), and very significantly knows war would make a great distraction from his crimes, but that he is timid about actually doing it. Bolton's there to provide some backbone.

and desire to be feared, but I really think he's a coward and is afraid of what comes next. Even though he was surrounded by his people, he was really anxious and defensive, arms tightly crossed, when he was promising to rain fire and fury like the world has never known on NK. Now, HHS's Tom Price looks unfazed at the prospect of murdering innumerable people.

Just a premature victory lap and a stupid commemorative coin.
Statesmanship is an art that takes skill and years of experience.
