The video of the speech is the important part, I think. A great example of party unity.

Evans said she will do everything to make sure "Stacey Evans" is successful.....

It should read Evans said she will do everything to make sure "Stacey Abrams" is successful.

I voted for Evans, but I'm happy to vote for Abrams.

This gubernatorial race is going to be different.

Republicans have been veering to the right for 30 years and Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidates tried to occupy the middle-left.

That strategy worked for Democrats through the 80s and 90s, but not so well in the 2000s and 2010s.

Now we have a Democratic candidate veering to the progressive left and Republicans veering to the hateful right with no one in the middle.

How this works out is really unclear.
