The Texas House District 46 race is to replace Dawnna Dukes (D) who ran into legal and health problems during her last term. She was mostly absent during her last term. This has been a historically African American district so Cole may hold an advantage.

Stacey Abrams is winning by about 200,000 votes.
She was also endorsed by EMILY' LIST..
