OLYMPICS: The NBC network is broadcasting a number of live events today.

If you're interested in watching, there's no tape delay issues.

On the NBC broadcast network, they are showing live swimming.

On Bravo, live tennis. On MSNBC, prancing horsies. On NBC sports, field hockey.

They're going to do water polo afterwards, and then beach volleyball on at least one of the channels.

swimming finals, gymnastics, basketball..

The others shown during the day are not the biggies..

The problem is that a 17-day MULTI-MULTI venue event is better shown as it happens...with a wrap-up during "prime-time".

Most people have access to real time outcomes anyway these days.
