In a million years I can not imagine my mom and dad wearing shirts like that...

In a million years I can not imagine my mom and dad wearing shirts like that or my friend's moms and dads wearing shirts like that, even without the Trump logo, and my parents were working class as well as my friend's parents. They were postal workers, school cafeteria workers, school custodians, automotive tools salespeople, and construction workers.

There is a pall over the land.

5. It really needs a new name. The old republican party you could work with. My dad was a strong

democratic politician way way back, won lots of elections, etc., and a lot of his friends were republicans, and they used to work together on politics etc. ... because they had some good ideas too. They would agree on things as being the best all-around solution. Those days are long gone.

From before civil rights in the 60s.

7. Nor mine. Die hard Republicans, both of them.

My father's family had money; my mother's father followed the oil wells from Pennsylvania to Oklahoma to the San Joaquin Valley in California.

My mother's brother became a dedicated Democrat. She had a photo of Ronnie Reagan on her kitchen wall. After I left home it would almost make me vomit to have go back and see that.

Neither one of my parents would tolerate--let alone--wear a t-shirt with that kind of language. But they were both racists.

I really do think that's what Trumpism is all about: white supremacy.

13. Where I used to live many households had Hannity and Reagan books on their coffee tables. It was

disgusting. ... and used to quote Fox News as a super authoritative news source. Damn, I'm glad I'm gone from there. I bet they have a load of those t-shirts now.

9. My parents wouldn't have worn them either

Mom was a staunch liberal and my dad, though a Libertarian, hated him and wanted him impeached after one week in office.

Edit: Come to think of it dad parents wouldn't have either. They were conservative leaning Independents but I can't see them being Trump supporters. Mom's parents were also staunch liberals so it's safe to say they wouldn't have liked him either.

12. It's not the Trump logo. It's the meanness and gratuitous profanity.

My dad swore like a sailor, god bless him , but he would have never wore a shirt with a profanity on it.

My paternal grandparents were Christians (real ones, not the fake ones we have today) and would have been turned off by Trump's and his supporter's vulgarity.

They shopped at K-Mart but they weren't gratuitously mean or profane.
