The guy who killed a deputy sheriff here in Maine this week - and is still at large - was a well know "gun enthusiast" with the words "Molon Labe" tattooed on his arm.

With Deputy Coles late brother, and spent a lot of time playing at his house. In 50 years I've never seen Gene that he didn't take the time to come and talk to me. He was a good man. There are to many John Williams types here in Central Maine now. I've even heard of Militias forming in this area. And I think we have more confederate flags flying on the back of pick-ups than Alabama. Anyway I hope this manhunt ends soon and this guy is put away for good. Rest in peace Gene
