He is afraid of the press. He hides behind his tweets, knowing he does not have to answer any questions from anyone.
He has no respect for our press or the laws of our country.
He and his supporters have betrayed everything our country has ever stood for. They thrive on delusion and lies.

(22,976 posts)All hot air, cant even manage his fucking weird life, let alone the presidency of the United States. Mother of mercy, this man is the goddamned PRESIDENT. Every so often (like hourly), that fact hits me like a cold, dead mackerel right across the kisser.
President TRUMP? Thats like saying Pope Manson, or Sir Alex Jones it just cant be real. Except my soaring blood pressure tells me otherwise. Regrettably.

(32,553 posts)It takes hard work and a lot of preparation to face journalists with tough questions. As we have seen - many, many times - Cheeto is unwilling to put the time into preparation, even when there are no questions.
On the other hand we always saw Hillary prepared and on point, whenever she faced any reporters. I believe the same is also true for Obama, who never avoided the hardball journalists.
Let's face it, Twitter isn't journalism and it could barely be considered "media" at all.

(56,828 posts)Remember, he didn't confront Megyn Kelly at the Republican debate about her quoting him about women - he took to twitter after the debate to attack her for 'blood coming out of her wherever" tweet. So, he was scared of a woman that he probably outweighed by a good 100 pounds or so - real Alpha male behavior.

(56,828 posts)that's why I said "or so" - I think the 239 may be close to accurate, but his real height is closer to 6'0" even. There was a picture of him I posted several weeks back of him next to recently retired baseball player Alex Rodriguez, who was listed at 6'3" as a baseball player. A-Rod dwarfs Trump height-wise and I'm guessing that Trump was in dress shoes (which typically have a small heel in the back) while Rodriguez was probably in sneakers.

I dont know how to figure this out. Its strange to me that so many are behind a despicable deplorable man.
Shania Twain said she liked him because he was honest? WHAT? He is a big liar.
Does she mean that she likes him because he will say anything no matter if its true or not and that shows some honesty?
the trump crowd is off the track and I dont understand it. My father is that way as well.
Are they brainwashed? Fox news disease?

(82,849 posts)The question I have is why the popular media feel compelled to run Trump's tweets; it's the only way he communicates with the outside world. If the popular media ignored his little squirts of bile, and insisted on the President facing the public and the American people, how might things be different? Instead, the media play their enabling role to the disservice of their audience, their advertisers, the country, and the global community of nations. There is literally no benefit to the media's supine position.

(8,200 posts)There is only one way, short of impeachment, of making him totally irrelevant and that is for Democrats to take full control of the both the House and Senate. We must use every thing at our disposal to get the young people out to vote. If the mid-terms have the same lack of turnout of Democrats that has been the historical result then get use to living in a fascist state. The Republicans are driven by the wedge issues of homosexuality, abortion, religion, and especially racism and will not fail to show up. It is a shame that when the constitution is at jeopardy, that many remain apathetic and will only wakeup when its too damn late.

(123 posts)I am no psychologist but his FEAR...of everything seems to be the root. Another great irony in the era of the buffoon is for all his tough guy bluster that his dumb ass rubes relish....he's at the core a scared and frightened little man.
