3. That thread is fucking amazing. It's telling how many people are unaware of the realities

of what new moms go through, ignorant of the reality of babies, and unwilling to learn or change. And by "people" I mean "probably men because for chrissake look at what they're saying."

6. The senate maternity leave policy is the problem

Duckworth has been quoted in articles saying while on leave she can't vote or sponsor legislation

Maternity leave policies need to accommodate the job description, instead of policy creators acting like it's just some kind of a vacation
