Guy Adams works as a writer for The Independent, a national newspaper in Great Britain. He lives in Los Angeles. Throughout the Olympics, he's taken to Twitter and ripped NBC repeatedly for its coverage of the Games in America.
Namely, he's criticized the network's reliance on using tape delays, a frustration shared by millions of viewers.
Only in a marriage of old media and social media, Guy Adams no longer has a Twitter account. It was suspended Tuesday, and both NBC and Twitter ought to be humiliated by their thin-skinned, heavy-handed, and essentially pointless behavior.
Adams was no doubt relentless in his tweets.

(12,041 posts)The e-mail is not private however, it is his company e-mail which has been advertised by NBC as part of his contact info. I will save you all the quick search, here is his e-mail: [email protected]
This is what I had to say to him:
I probably would have never heard of your critic on Twitter if you had not decided to demand his silence, but when your network chooses to censor your critics you create a whole lot of new critics. I sure won't be watching any NBC programming any time soon, I hope you are enjoying the backlash you created.
Fill up this guy's inbox with your own messages, if a top network executive wants to silence his critics I think we need to show him that people can not be silenced.

(12,041 posts)As long as you know the person's name and they work for NBC/Universal you can guess their e-mail simply by plugging in [email protected]. As long as there are not two people working at the company with the same name your guess will most likely be accurate, to call a business e-mail that is designed to be easy to guess "private" is crazy.
