Squire Patton Boggs is advising Cambridge Analytica on the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) investigation into its use of data, as well as allegations made against the company by various news outlets.

Very interesting, indeed. What a tangled and incestuous web.

(6,288 posts)Mueller & his team are brilliant.
We are living history here.
Tatiana
(14,167 posts)Now going about proving their case.
I still think Mueller is going to be the first prosecutor to indict a sitting President.

(62,709 posts)I would hope that those three families would value their family status over obscene wealth, but I suspect they have no values.

(6,288 posts)...if they had values or a soul .
You are so right, Ilsa
I am going with the belief that today's event with Cohen is the beginning of the end.
And I hope is goes down with the speed & force of an avalanche.
The world needs to breathe again.
Me.
(35,454 posts)and interesting that they have mutually agreed to push him out.... He'll never be able to get out from beneath the bus everyone is shoving him under. Lots of CYA going on. And that Cohen is the fool who said he'd take a bullet for the Comrade President.

A tangled web indeed.
The Velveteen Ocelot
(124,274 posts)probably what's called "of counsel" (meaning a loose consulting relationship) - but he wasn't employed by them. But I'd be interested to know why he was associated with them at all, and what kind of work he did for them.

(1,216 posts)who just graduated from law School last year has already worked for 2 different large law firms doing contract jobs. Does that mean any shenanigans those law firms may have been involved in taints her career? I hope not.
The Velveteen Ocelot
(124,274 posts)a new law graduate is basically just a gofer (I know, I once was one) who wouldn't be allowed close enough to the shenanigans to have any concerns about them.

(11,750 posts)it's beyond incredible how all these details and layers meet, sometimes overlap, a giant mosaic of weasels, mobsters and their enablers.
Coinky-dink? I think not.
Also read earlier that Squire Patton Boggs represents Gazprom. A small world, no?
