Perhaps because he's so silent and quiet about things.

All we see of him is news reels of him walking, and yet you know he knows so much more than we do at this point.

He's like a mysterious literary character, larger than life and yet shrouded in mystery.

He's an unspoken, omnipresent force and the perfect counterbalance to Trump's pomposity.

The FBI collected information within the US -- other agencies like the CIA operated in Iraq, and the FBI supported them.

I think it's very interesting that TYT is trying to discredit Mueller now. They were also attacking Hillary during her campaign.

don't have time to look it up right now, but slightly later in the video Mueller also says that invading Iraq will create other problems. As I recall, he saw the dangers that have materialized, while accepting the intelligence that Colin Powell had presented. I would like to hear what he thinks of all of it now.

And yes, very interesting to watch the suspicion of Mueller emerging. Makes me wonder.

Mueller is no different. After the 9/11 anthrax killings Mueller made Steven Hatfill the "subject" of his investigation. He hounded Hatfill for years. Finally Hatfill sued the DOJ and won $5.8 million because of their conduct. Muller then made another man his "subject" in the case and he ultimately killed himself. The case is still unsolved.

Yes, Mueller's prosecutor made a serious mistake in targeting Hatfill.

But Mueller's prosecutor didn't lead Bruce Ivins, the virologist who was really behind the anthrax attack, to commit suicide. The virologist's guilty conscience led him to take his own life.

He was never charged and the crime remains unsolved today. Scientists said Ivins did not have the skills to turn lab anthrax into an inhalable powder and he had no motive for mailing it to the various people and offices. The FBI later said over 400 people had access to the lab.

He referred it to the Federal prosecutors in NY and the warrants-from what I've read--required substantial 'cause' for the raid to proceed.

Strange that this is the second 'dump on Mueller' response I've seen on DU today.

I also don't see Michael Cohen as a suicide risk. More of a flight risk. These people are all dirty. They threw an election, they've been involved with money laundering (blood money) and the Russian Mob.

I'm sure Mueller has made mistakes in the past. That being said, it's been reported that the Trumpster wanted dirt on Mueller and Comey. Then was outraged when none turned up.

From where I'm sitting, Mueller is on the money with this investigation, unraveling the skien, slowly but surely, then reversing the direction as each individual is examined, questioned and determinations made. Frankly, that's the only thing I care about at the moment: reeling these crooks in with the Rule of Law. Then throwing the Book at all of them when the time is right.

This will not end well for the Trumpsters. I'll save my sympathy for the people who have been ripped off and damaged by Don the Con and his odious acolytes and inner circle, the people who thought it was okay to sell the country out if the price was right.

Dumping on Mueller and his investigators is not going to work at this late stage.

with sound evidence, an airtight, lawful case against all these weasels to defraud the United States of America, money laundering, racketeering. Among other things.

Concrete enough for you?

Honestly, what is this suspicion about Mueller and his team all about? Or are you in the Deep State camp, that the ongoing investigation itself is a conspiracy by nefarious actors and that Putin's Russia, that bastion of individual freedom and democracy, is being unfairly scapegoated?

I want the people who f**ked with our election brought to justice. I want the mob ties and criminality exposed and rooted out. I also want Trump neutered in November before he does even more damage to our institutions.

What do you want?

More than one journalist has referred to him as the 2018 Eliot Ness, and I think that's more than apt. The guy is fearless, and when you consider what we actually "know" about his investigation, versus what he's actually accomplished, I think we are in for shock and awe.
