Are Melanias parents now American citizens?

Was talking with a progressive who said there’s a story here that no media have followed.
They were saying that Melanias parents were beneficiaries of the so called “chain immigration” that Trump and the right have railed against.
I can’t find any facts on this.
Anybody know if after Melania was naturalized that her parents were too?

She became a citizen in the year after her marriage to Trump. She has been able to bring her sister and parents to US and they have legal residency with green cards but are not citizens yet. Undoubtedly the goal of US citizenship for herself and family is involved in her marriage to him as well as the financial security he has provided.

You don’t need to be a family therapist to see that she hates him.
But, besides any prenup, nda, or any other financial agreement she has with him, she probably won’t rock any boats or do any tell alls until her family members are citizens in the U.S.

This makes me understand her motivation a little more.

I read that after divorce from Ivana, Trump financially supported Ivana's mother and let her stay at Mar a Lago as grandmother of Ivanka, Don Jr and Eric.

10. Well Slovenia, Malaria's home country, has very close ties to Putin

It was communist Yogoslavia when Malaria was born. A lot of trade and money goes back and forth between the two countries. Putin did visit the country back in 2011.

I just don't see her as smart enough to be a KGB handler. Yeah she speaks languages but probably out of necessity. She never did more than a year in college and married the old man in 2005, 11 years before Putin made Trump president.

On the other hand, she was 35 when she married him so her nude modeling career was pretty well finished. Maybe she is his handler. You notice how much taller she is than Putin? Putin is a tiny little man, no wonder they show him sitting or horseback riding.
