They're sublimely disinterested in their Article One powers. Trump, of course, has no idea whatsoever what is in the Constitution or even what the Constitution is.

Supremes said the line-item veto is unconstitutional. That was 20 years ago. Not that Dolt 45 would know about or understand the whole separation of powers thing.

Was 20 years ago? I suppose they could revisit it, but I don't see why, when Rs have House and Senate and Executive branches.

The Republicans passed a line-item veto act, and brought Reagan or to celebrate with a big cake.

And as soon as Clinton was elected, the Republicans challenged the law they had just passed.
