A friend and I came across a small dog shit stuck to a retaining wall beside the sidewalk. It was just hanging there about two feet above the concrete. I found it funny, but my friend was utterly amazed that such a thing could exist. Every time we walked by it, he would remark on its profundity, like the levitating dog shit held the answer to the meaning of life. At one point, he took a picture of it so he would have the miracle on record for all time. The amazing dog shit lasted maybe two weeks, and I received a daily report from my friend on its status until it was finally gone. For several weeks after, he bemoaned its loss like it had been his child.

This is the tRump phenomena. He is dog shit stuck to a wall for all to gawp at and discuss. So, yes, I agree with you that he is shit on a rock.
