If Putin is blackmailing Trump,
we have been, and still are being, extremely fucked.
When John Brennan, the ex CIA chief tweets:
“When the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history. You may scapegoat Andy McCabe, but you will not destroy America...America will triumph over you.”
And then when he follows it up the next day by suggesting that Putin has something on Trump, you can bet your ass that Putin has something on Trump.
As Lawrence O’Donnell says, as he did last night on his MSNBC show, “The Last Word,” Brennan knows far, far more than he’s saying. Brennan, as the ex Director of the CIA, is limited in what he can publicly say (either through his own discretion, or by federal law). However, for him to come out with what he has is astounding, frightening and a warning to all of us.
If Trump is truly owned by Putin, there’s not much we can do about it. Only the Republican Party, which currently holds all the levers of power, can act. And they have chosen to do nothing.
There are two outcomes here. Republicans will continue to hold onto power, Putin will keep using Trump as his puppet, and we will all continue to be extremely fucked. Or we will overcome all of their election antics, throw them out of power, and return our freedoms and independence.
However, at some point in the future, Trump and the Republican Party must be held answerable for their actions an/or servitude.

But how do we as a planet deal with someone who is a fucking maniacal dictator like Putin? He could wipe out half the planet with the snap of his fingers. He's like Thanos and we're the Avengers.
