Trump has exposed the Republicans and Fox noise/hate radio personalities to be the biggest hypocrites on all issues and they have no legs to stand on to criticize anyone on anything from here on out.

Republicans called President Obama a dictator or an authoritarian for anything that he did that they opposed. His executive orders on DACA, the ACA, his handling of Syria and ISIS, and many others. To Republicans, President Obama was both weak and feckless, and a dictator enslaving the US with his iron fist.

They haven't really had any basis in reality for their criticism for a long time now. There has always been and will always be hyperbole when describing your opponents, but Republicans seem to run out of any sense of honor with regards to the debate on policies. I think that it is a result of them running out of ways to sell their agenda, which seems focused primarily on allowing and facilitating the transfer of wealth to the wealthiest people. All the other issues (abortion, guns, religious liberty, etc...) are just tools which they use to keep their coalition of scared White Christians together.
