Anyone else have the feeling...

...that the internal numbers that both campaigns hold close to the chest show the President crushing Lurch the Fucking StiffTM to the core?

I think this sudden rush to validate the President's comments by the rightwing spooge media is just laying the ground work so that the Racist Inbred Party and Tea Garglers are prepared for the inevitable.

she senses Obama has the edge there. The mortgage crisis is still a huge issue for many there.

this election won't be close.

If people actually voted in line with their self-interest, he'd be lucky to get twenty percent of the vote. Because so many are ill-informed or vote for a particular party because their family has always voted for that party, or they think there's no real difference between the too, or they watch too much Fox news, or any one of many other things that shape an individual's vote, he'll get forty-something percent. It is slightly possible that as various things unfold between now and November, many more voters will understand just how unqualified Romney is, what a disaster he would be for the country, and just maybe Obama will win in a historic landslide, but I'm not counting on that.

I sometimes think all the blather about it being a close race is to hide the things that the republicans are doing to ensure that those nasty democrats can't vote.

...voter suppression and election-machine rigging are discussed as if they were parts of the election strategy?

I first voted in 1972 and political subjects such as "Well, they can suppress the vote here," or "They can rig the machines there" were unfathomable. Now, it's almost like they could be subjects for discussion on Sunday morning talk shows...

We've descended far in 40 years...

RW We ask America pollster publishes poll that shows Republicans starting to move to Obama in higher numbers.

Why would they do that?

They see the internals and are afraid that their candidates in Ohio and the rest of the midwest are going to be crushed and are trying to force Romney into picking Portman as VP

I believe that this is an example of internal polling showing real numbers that has been leaked for a reason.
