Pennsylvania race a toss-up, but narrative a lock.

Analysis by Gregory Krieg, CNN
Updated 10:27 PM ET, Tue March 13, 2018

... Dems' take: Republicans have dominated this district for 15 years. Former Rep. Tim Murphy, who resigned in October after it was revealed he'd asked his lover to get an abortion, ran his last two races unopposed by a Democrat ...

Saccone's struggles, especially on the fundraising front, and eventual loss show that Trump's unpopularity is pulling down his party, while enraging and engaging Democrats. This is the second consecutive high profile race, after the Alabama US Senate clash, in which Trump's preferred candidate fell short even with the President's blessing and an overwhelmingly red electorate ...

GOP take: Saccone was a poor candidate, while Lamb was a very good one. Lamb also had the benefit of being able to tack to the center, basically running as a moderate Republican ("Republican lite", because the unique nature of the race cut off any potential challenge from his left. 1. sorry repukes

If you run as a Trumpublican, you will win your primary... but to be close in the general Trump had better have won your district by 20+ pointa.

If you run as a "traditional republican" then you might well lose the primary, but should you win, you will have almost no shot in the general because your base will not turn out to support you.

100 seats are going to swing to Democrats... I hope.

2. RepubliConned can't accept reality. They are blaming it on Saccone's "porn stache".

(As reported in Washington Examiner RW rag)

For some reason, a moustache is more objectionable to their own voters than a serial sex-assault President who is being blackmailed by a porn star he fucked in violation of his marriage vows (not the first time).
