I saw Beto O'Rourke on MSNBC...very impressive guy. I thought he might be to liberal for Texas, but
I think he has a shot...very handsome and charismatic as well. Of course I am progressive so naturally I think what he wants is good, but the things he talks about would really help Texas and appeal to them...not at all what I expected after reading about him. I would just be so incredibly excited if we beat the asshat Ted Cruz.

1. Have you seen that guy Ojeda?
From West Virginia?
Teachers chanting his name. I saw a good article about him. |

7. Just read the article about retired Major Ojeda
I like it. He is for the people and stood up in the legislature in January for the teachers. I would hope the legislature is worried about his populist appeal.

21. I saw the teachers chanting his name...and with the GOP set to punish west Virginia for siding with
the teachers...we could see some GOP losses...going to look him up thanks.

2. Concur.
The gentleman was well spoken. And I remember he talked about a guy in an old black & white picture.
I will be researching Ojeda of WV. |

where O'Rourke was campaigning at the time.

15. Cool...I personally think LBJ was one of our greatest presidents...Medicare, Medicaid and
Civil Rights...he is underrated. I find him fascinating.

I think he wrote a 3 or 4 vol biography of LBJ

18. Doris Kearns Godwin also wrote a good
LBJ bio, very readable. I believe she was a WH intern during his presidency.

thought would resonate with Texans...lucky you ... you voted for a good one.

11. I agree...I read his positions and earlier today replied with a post about how he
might be too liberal for Texas...and I want to win...but I was very impressed with him...and it is still Texas but I think he has a good shot.Texas is going to be blue...wouldn't it be great if it began with a Senate seat?

13. He is very charismatic and a good speaker...I was not thinking he was the right candidate for Texas
but I was wrong. He is terrific. He gives me hope. The other thing that impressed me is how WV backed their teachers and forced the righties to back down...and I just heard there is a good candidate in WV too...going to check him out.

And he is traveling around Texas explaining how he will work for the people of Texas...this guy will go far.

20. I want to be optimistic. But are those vote totals correct
Or are the Russians involved? 1.3 Mill voted for Cruz in a primary? Jeesh. They must really love that prick down there.
