China is now one of Putin's largest oil customers. Actually, Qatar partnered with China and bought 14.9% of Rosneft for $9 billion last fall, which raised more than one eyebrow.

China and Russia patched up the "whose commmunism is better" ideology issues

China has signed up cooperative agreements with just about every non-western nation for just about everything, committing $900 billion to their improvement.
