It was like listening to a commentary from a human potato.
Smerconish is a very very special case of determined stupidity.

One though popped into my head reading your description: Did Smersh get honorary degrees that could now be rescinded given his attempts to 'play both sides' - and thus at times rationalize some of the far right? Sounds like on some level his criticism is perhaps personal.
