CPAC allows conservatives to show their real colors.

Michael Steele Responds to Racial Insult Hurled by CPAC Communications Director

Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) communication director Ian Walters sparked controversy with a racially charged insult hurled at former RNC chair Michael Steele on Friday night.

“We elected Mike Steele as chairman because he was a black guy, that was the wrong thing to do,” Walters told hundreds of conservatives during the conference’s Ronald Reagan dinner as guests at tables gasped in shock.

Michael Steele was near the back of the room, and addressed Walters’ remarks.

“I wanted to talk to [CPAC chair] Matt Schlapp first, but I think it’s painfully stupid what he said,” Steele told Observer. “If he feels that way I’d like him to come say that to my face. And then I’d like him to look at my record and see what I did. I can’t believe an official of CPAC would go onstage in front of an audience and say something like that. I’ve been a strong supporter of CPAC for many years and I thought they raised them better than that here.”

He decided to be part of an organization and a party that hates African Americans.
He should have left after the birther shit.
To be honest, he's part of the problem.

2. I'm not concerned with Steele's feelings for the same reasons as you.

I am, however, blown away by someone making such a racially charged insult at an event that is as highly publicized as CPAC meeting.

I don't think we have anything to rival the annual CPAC Bund Rally because that cheapskate Soros won't. pay for one.

People casting about for an equivalent event sometimes try to shoehorn Netroots Nation into that role, but that's comparing apples and orangutans.

Michael Steele: Yes, sir.

JHB: Are you listening?

Michael Steele: Yes, I am.

JHB: Rockefeller Republicans.

Michael Steele: Exactly how do you mean?

JHB: Uncompromising zealots get fed up with being held back by a a faction that looks to be in the driver's seat but keeps giving in and compromising with The Hated Enemy, take over the party apparatus, use their success to draw in even more zealots, and the ousted faction -- when it can't be erased from history completely -- is openly treated with scorn and contempt. Any of that sound familiar? It happened before, when you were in college and when you were starting out. Think about it. Will you think about it?
