Why did trump's attorney make that statement? What is he trying to get ahead of...?

Something must up - and something should be. In a normal world, this like so many individual stories, would take down a president.

4. Understand as per Maddow,,

Cohen has a retainer fund paid by the RNC for the defense of Trump. So when the quarterly filings pop,there most likely be a 130k expense item some where in the filing. Most likely a invoice to Cohen's law firm. And in a amount as to disguise the true amount.

5. Because the campaign is not the Con - personal rather than for the campaign

As the experts suggest it was very carefully worded. That common cause law suit is big trouble for them.
