2. The real question is who put the $130K in his pocket in the first place.

He says “Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed me for the payment, either directly or indirectly." That doesn't answer the question. I doubt very much that Cohen bought her off just out of the kindness of his heart - that crowd has neither hearts nor kindness. Somebody reimbursed him.
