Rachel can add that one to her list.
What did they talk about?
How come we had to find out about it from the Russian press?
He doesn't even try to hide it anymore. He's a tool of the Russians. I don't know why we can't see the facts in front of us?

(67,101 posts)Putin has the goods on Trump. Hell, Trump won't even enforce the sanctions overwhelmingly approved by congress. And now the midterms are coming up, and agreed that Russia will hack those elections too, and Trump sits on his ass. We're in deep shit in the US, far more than told and probably than we realize. And, how much of congress and others are in on this.

"Well, I had to get rid of our plant, Rob Porter..."
"Who is going to replace him?"
"I don't know....didn't I do great at ignoring those 'sanctions' they put on you?
"Donald, you can't go weak on me now... we are almost ready to take over your country... This is so much easier than I ever thought..."

(776 posts)You have sanctions overwhelmingly approved by congress. The public overwhelmingly approves of the sanctions. There would be no political fall out by enforcing them and it just makes anyone look guilty who doesn't. So why aren't the republican leaders marching to the oval office or whatever golf course trump is on at the moment and say you have to enforce these now.
Why not? Because they either know hes guilty and its futile or they are just as guilty. It's the only explanation. They don't need russias love to screw the poor now they're in power. They should have discarded that card by now but they're keeping it up their sleeve for some nefarious reason

(32,811 posts)I guess it's a moot point. Anyone who still thinks putin is not in charge of America is dangerously stupid, and shouldn't be taken seriously on any level.

(111,069 posts)Who is going to replace Rachel Brand?
The State Department has been severely damaged since day one of the coup, with many jobs left unfilled.
The Republican Party has not demonstrated any intent to help Mr Trump fill all these positions? Isn't that part of their job? Or is it that The Donald does not reach out to the Republican Party?
If they ever build a statue to Incompetence, it will be a statue of Mitch McConnell, Donald Trump, and Paul Ryan.

(32,811 posts)very good people in these positions. They are not willing to destroy or soil their reputations by working for the most inept, criminal, psychotic maladministration to ever occupy the land.

(4,341 posts)The context of what was discussed is what is secret, do you have any idea what the man-child discussed with his boss? If so please tell us.
The fact that he called his boss is no longer secret, but what was discussed is.

(32,613 posts)He has to be up extremely early in case he gets a call from his boyfriend. I'm sure they talk much more often than is reported in the newspapers.
There's nobody wandering around the White House at that time, so nobody can overhear the convos. But 3 A.M. here is like 11 o'clock or noon in Moscow. This is a REGULAR THING for Cheeto, he's been doing it for 2 or 3 years years. Even if Pootie doesn't call, he still has to be up to make sure he doesn't miss it.

Somehow, the Party Leaders on both sides, need to come to some sort of compromise. They must understand that they are our elected leaders and it is their job to protect our Constitution and to defend our nation from all enemies, foreign and domestic.
