Trump wants to deny or revoke legal, permanent residency to people getting public assistance
even if it is for their US born children! WTF is going on here? [link:https://www.google.com/amp/amp.nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2018/02/trump-may-try-to-deport-legal-immigrants-who-get-benefits.html|
Sorry for the typo in the title. I hate typing on my cell!

4. There are so many productive and decent legal residents
whose children, American citizens, have benefited from public assistance at some point... I mean, this move will destroy families and cause a lot of harm to our country.

7. They were never truly interested in illegal immigration alone
They want to purge the country of as many individuals of color as possible. We are under siege.

13. If you're right, and I have every reason to believe you are
We need to get rid of Miller next. Find some dirty dirt on him (beyond his obviously being a Nazi).

14. I have thought for a while that he was worse than Bannon
Bannon is an opportunist, while Miller is a true believer...he’s had these beliefs since he was a teenager. While I’d love to hope there is some dirt out there on Miller, I think, if he goes down, he will likely go down with Trump, since he is an indoctrinated true believer, ala some others in history ****cough*** Goebbels, with whom he shares a striking resemblance.

15. There was an attempt a week or so ago if I recall correctly
Shaming Donnie by presenting Miller as the real president making all the big decisions. But it didn't catch on. Sadly, I think you are right about having to wait for him to go down with tRump.

11. this has got to be a civil rights violation.
U.S. citizen children would face effective discrimination from programs.
U.S. citizen child A with citizen parents has access to head start, nutrition programs, health care but U.S. citizen child B with LEGAL resident parents has access dangled but a threat of deportation is leveled against their parents if they enroll. A and B do not have the same opportunities when such a threat is held over their parents, the decision makers for their education, nutrition and health care. |
