This WH is a disaster, so the idea that it was mismanaged so badly seems to make sense. Plus, domestic abuse just isn't something he cares about, so the only reason to tell him is for PR purposes.

That was very early in the administration, at which point his staff probably still felt inclined to treat him as a normal president. At that point in time I think he would have been informed.

The idea of treating him as a normal President has never occurred to me, and never will, but anyone willing to work for him in the first place is almost certainly a bit of a freak show to begin with.

Maybe with a well meaning, knowledgeable president. With Trump, the category has probably been redefined by his staff. This WH and president are beyond what any of us is familiar with in terms of politics and governing. The presidency as we have known it has been abandoned as Trump has tried to move his own reality into the WH.

The best. The very very best. Everybody says so. I don't know. I never met him. But that's what they say. I'll tell you this. Somebody showed me a picture. I think it was his wife. Not very good looking. Something wrong with her face. She let herself go. Maybe I would have grabbed her by the whatever once. But now? Sad! So, great guy. Good people. A witch hunt. Everybody says so. Why? Hillary. I beat her. And the FBI. Lock her up!"
