How come does the GOP have these so-called retreats?

While the Ds stay in DC and continue to work to better the country?

4. Democrats are about using government to help people.

Republicans are about using people to help them stay in government. The retreats are to plan strategy and keep a unified message. They don't want Nunes' lies interfering with Ryan's lies or McConnell's lies so they all have to be on the same lying page.
