Took 3 hours to walk 10 blocks from the subway to the actual march. Now we'Re moving. Best sign so far: "we need to lose 239 pounds."

Lots of men, young women, kids. It's sunny and warm.

not pleurisy though. We both know that our hearts are with all these wonderful women and children. I get teary eyed at what I'm seeing. This is another one for the history books for sure!

I was also thinking that you just know that every one of these people will get to the polls and it isn't going to be the GOP that they vote for!

Columbus circle. Felt reeeel goood.

I had a rhythm band and a woman w a megaphone near me all day. Lots of singing and chanting. Very happy crowd.one man had a great paper mache trump head .

Next time, my sign will say "men in pink hats are sexy."

Our republican rep, Elise Stefanik did NOT show up.
It was upbeat and hopeful.
Very glad I went.

Everyone was in great spirits and there were some great signs.

There were even larger rallies in Oakland, Berkeley, San Jose and Sacramento and Sonoma counties.

"I'd hate to be the guy who pissed off all these women"
"Damn right I'm a snowflake and this is what winter looks like"

33. The weather was smiling on us all today as we marched.

Only a few places in the country had any rain and it wasn't sub zero. I think the only storm cloud was the one over the W House. He is pissed off he missed his party and had to stay inside and play "president" for the weekend instead of golf.

Now we need to March to the midterms! POWER TO THE POLLS!

37. Radio and TV coverage was really good: They were announcing it ahead of time, during and

this morning it's still a headline on tv and radio. The images are amazing from all over the world!

I really believe that doing this once could be dismissed as a novelty, a fluke, a reaction to losing the election.

There's no easy way to write off this year's attendance, especially with #timesup and all the brave women who have come forward with accusations of misconduct (and worse.) Countless women are putting their names up for election, and so far, are doing well.
