(if I'm recalling that correctly), it seems pretty much the normal not-normal temps we've been experiencing for the last 15 years or so. Does that make sense? Our Winters have been warmer and drier for so long now it's become the new normal and this year doesn't seem any worse, so far.

I am ever hopeful for enough rain to prevent further drought conditions but without the down pours like we experienced last week. A long, extended, rainy season of intermittent storms would be great. We used to have those. Are you old enough to remember? Seems like a long time ago.

No offense to South Florida, but residents in FL enjoy the warm winters and tropical climate.
Los Angeles is supposed to have a cool season.
